Program Philosophy

Mission Statement

Velocity AAU Basketball is designed to provide excellent basketball instruction and overall skill development to participants who are willing to strive for athletic excellence.  The mission is to provide a balanced and competitive basketball program utilizing experienced and caring coaches that provide high quality and efficient coaching techniques.

 

Program Goals

This is a developmental program that will enhance the participant’s skill development, knowledge of the game of basketball, the concept of “team”, improve overall sport performance skills, and allow the participant to make a successful transition in the program each year they participate. Our teams will strive to compete at the highest level of competition.  The overall goal is to develop players and produce competitive teams to compete at the National level.  This program is being offered to boys, grades 6 – 11, and girls, grades 8 – 11 (grade entering this fall).
